The project explores the tectonics of bamboo and brick.

The project is the result of a collaboration of Studio Context (18 students) and the CARE school in Trichy, India.

It consist of three elements:

The Cocoon: a bamboo (mushroom) construction covered with banana leaf shingles.

The Tower: an educational eco compost toilet of local bricks.

The Plateaus: Open space between the two elements.

Eventually a garden surrounding the space.

The whole project was realized in December 2014 and is to be exhibited on the Milan Design Expo 2015.
