Casting Workshop II

Today we casted in aluminium.

The plaster casts have been in the oven all night and burned all the material away, leaving a nice mold for us.

After breaking th plaster it became very clear that the aluminium didn't really flow through the whole mold so there is only a partially form. But that's is in a way also very charming that you don't know exactly what you have created until you break the plaster. The pictures are the entire cast with airventilation, support structure and pouring pipe.
